BookMyVenue is a product operated by Xpykerz. This policy applies to the BookMyVenue website, dashboard, mobile application, and related services.
Information we process
We process account and authentication information, venue and staff profiles, customer and booking details, schedules, invoices, payments, expenses, notification activity, and other operational records submitted to the service. The mobile app may also process a push-notification token when an owner explicitly enables alerts.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide permission-scoped venue workflows, display business records and reports, deliver requested notifications, protect the service, troubleshoot failures, and meet support or legal obligations.
Device storage and analytics
The mobile app stores session credentials in platform secure storage and may retain a small, time-limited cache of recently viewed data in app-private storage for offline access. It clears protected local data on sign-out or terminal session failure. BookMyVenue does not currently include advertising, cross-app tracking, or an enabled analytics or crash-reporting provider.
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, database, email, messaging, notification, and support providers only as needed to operate configured features. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect account and audit integrity, resolve disputes, and meet contractual, accounting, or legal obligations. Authorized account administrators control venue records. Requests to access, correct, or delete personal information are reviewed against account ownership and applicable retention requirements.
Security
BookMyVenue uses authentication, permission and tenant boundaries, encrypted transport in production, protected credential storage, restricted notification content, and operational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access. No service can guarantee absolute security. See the security policy for reporting instructions.
Your choices
You may disable mobile owner alerts, sign out to clear protected device data, and ask the relevant venue administrator to correct operational records. Privacy requests can be sent directly to Xpykerz.
Changes
We may update this policy as BookMyVenue changes. The date above identifies the latest published version.
